Zaitsev E. A., Trubaev P. A., Gubarev A. V., Kuleshov M. I. ANALYSIS OF THE EXERGY LOSSES IN HOT WATER BOILERS

Analysis of the exergy losses in a conventional boiler and in two condensing boilers offering a deep cooling of gas at the outlet due to condensation is performed to compare them using exergic and thermal efficiency. To educe the effectiveness of the aforementioned thermal power units we revealed four typical processes occurring there and developed methods of formalized calculation of the exergy losses in these processes. Calculation was performed using only the data on the composition and temperature of gases and coolant at the inlet and outlet of the thermal process or its particular stage. The proposed method are used to determine the losses in the three hot water boilers.
