The history of the journal

The journal was founded in 1944 by the people's commissariat of the USSR. During the Great Patriotic War there was the main challenge for the journal: to promote every possible economy of electric energy in industry in order to use it for the needs of the war and then for the reconstruction of the national economy after the war. All the years the journal promoted the achievements of science and technology, advanced methods of using and economy of energy resources, nature conservation and labour protection at the factories.

The journal „Industrial energy“ is in the list of the top peer-reviewed journals and editions, in which the main scientific results of thesis works in candidacy for a degree of Candidate of Science and Doctor of Philosophy must be published.
